We really welcome contacts from adults who would like to offer their time for voluntary work within our school to help us with all sorts of activities including general garden maintenance, minibus driving, support with taking children swimming, hearing children read, off site educational activities. We will provide all the DBS application support.
Do you have any spare time for a couple of hours to come and volunteer in some fabulous surroundings and to really help our wonderful school with maintenance and upkeep of our allotment area and the regeneration of our walled garden? Do you have a love for or interest in gardening, being outdoors or general horticulture and a little bit of spare time? If you do then we would love to hear from you!
Horticulture within Gosden House is such an important part of the curriculum and we want to be able to offer an environment that is safe and useable for our children and staff . We are so very lucky to be within 44 acres of land, but this does mean we are always having to maintain the garden/orchard/allotment/general green areas. It is a constant supply of work for people who love gardening. We really need to do some more planting, upgrade our current areas, mainly our wonderful new allotment area.
